Fall Family Portraits

This is one of my favorite families to photograph on the planet.  These girls are so sweet, it makes me want to have a girl!  Tea parties in tutus.  That’s the thing I miss as a mother of a boy. I got to shoot these family portraits at the family’s home and then at Piedmont Park.  I really wanted to get a little bit of fall into the picture, and they were perfect.  I had the hardest time picking the best ones to blog!  Thanks guys- and thanks again for the coffee!

Caleb and Whitney

We had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of this cute couple this last Saturday at Christ the King Catholic Church here in Buckhead.  From start to finish, it was a dream wedding.  There were so many beautiful details that were fun to photograph.  We also met a new vendor that we’d love to recommend:  Steve Schumacher of Creative Video Moments.  He was a really nice guy, and his work will speak for itself!  Here are a few of our favorite moments from the day:

The Andersons

This weekend I had the very great pleasure of photographing the Anderson family for the third time.  They are all so sweet (they even make me coffee!)  We started out shooting at their home near Inman Park- a home that I particularly love to shoot in.  There is so much natural light, and their kids feel quite at home in front of the camera as they play in their normal surroundings.  Then they had the great idea of shooting some family pictures at Piedmont Park, since they love the city and thought we might get some city skyline in the background.  It was also a great opportunity for their older daughter to work out some energy at the playground!  I was amazed at how packed the park was, but I guess not too surprised given how beautiful the day was.
